Survey for the bored 9 - Well bred ladies of a certain age

by chrisglos @ Thursday, 08. Mar, 2007 - 13:12:56

...You know those peculiar thoughts that infiltrate your head on a random basis whilst strolling around or pretending to do your job? Things like, "when you think about it, 'hymn' is a really oddly structured word", "Amy Winehouse is actually quite attractive" or "what do ducks think about". That kind of stupid oddness.

Well, I got to thinking the other day about a possible mathematical formula for gauging how "well-to-do" a lady of a "certain age" might be. And its this:

Volume of hair x Length of time Blow dried + Thickness of furs + Glare from shine of gold earrings = B

B: Where the greater the sum of these, the more well bred or posh (or haughty as we may be inclined to describe them ) someone is.

I swear, I saw a woman the other day whose blow dried coiff was so huge and practically screaming 'look how cultured I am' that she was less walking and more floating.

Perhaps her hair was concealing a helium baloon? Would explain the floatyness.

Not too pleased about your profile pic...

*smacks you in the face with a shovel*

GET HAPPY!

And if you don't get the above reference you must strip naked and roll in nettles.

Guess what.

Go on, guess.

Pan's Labyrinth is out to buy on DVD on Monday. Subtitles included.

And Amy Wino Whorehouse Warehouse Winehouse is sort of attractive. Maybe it's all the hair having some sort of gravitational pull on the gonads.

And yes, "hymn" is a weird word. So is "rhythm".

of course - drop dead fred?

i wonder if its cos she sort of looks like somewhere between cleopatra, a horse, and a transvestite? i think thats what does it for me.

another weird word is 'affluent' - i still dont understand it :)

Yeah, too close to effluent for my liking. Maybe they did it on purpose.
