Ah, now I remember what it looks like...

by chrisglos @ Thursday, 15. Mar, 2007 - 23:15:09

Theres a vague recognition of these four walls surrounding me.

Scrub that.

Theres a vague recognition of these six walls surrounding me. (Theres an L shaped corner. Sorry, got my facts wrong there.)

Oh yes, and the bookcases. The candles appear familiar too. As does the vodka bottle, half empty wine rack and glasses.

It's all coming back to me now...it's my room. Seems like forever since I've been in here.

So I should have been making the most of it and getting on with my little pet project. I dont mean a small rodent or anything either. And my writing.

But I'm bored. Actually, to be precise, I'm procrastinating.

Okay, coffee break over, back to completing page 3 of the website.

Song of the day:
"Questions" Jack Johnson

Frasier quote of the day:
Niles: "She was hysterical. I haven't heard her this panicked since her strength gave out halfway through a revolving door"

------
And dont forget it's Friday tomorrow (as if us 9 to 5'ers would) so you know what that means. Please keep your eyes peeled and and do your stuff. I'm sure everyone will be donating to Comic Relief anyway, so theres no reason why you can't do a few free actions as well.

There, you've been told.

------

Okay, back to it now, make the most of the remainder of my night in.

Toodlepips.

So there I was, chatting to Aled Jones...

by chrisglos @ Thursday, 15. Mar, 2007 - 14:30:08

....so there we were on Monday night, sat at the bar talking - Aled Jones, Barry Hercules from Terrahawks, Anne Diamond, Renton, Graham Norton and Audrey Hepburn.

Or was it Declan from BBC Breakfast, Richard Ashcroft, Lisa Stansfield, Dermot OLeary, Danny Wallace and, erm Audrey Hepburn.

Okay, so thats a bit of an odd and obscure mix of celebrities.

Okay, I'll let you into a secret, they werent real.

But by jove, was that one of the weirdest set of look-a-likes I've ever been involved with? In all the years the look-a-like game has been in existence, never have so many cropped up. And more than one for each person too! Well, except Audrey Hepburn.

And to top it all off, in walked the guy from the Fast Show. Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We found this spoon sir....

A slightly flippant title for what is really a quite serious topic, however, the ineptitude at finding things does bring to mind the classic Life of Brian scene.

The Guantanamo base has been open over 5 years.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has been detained for 4 years.

In all that time, finally it appears that one, I'll repeat, one, of the thousands of detainees has admitted involvement.
(source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6452573.stm)

So thats one person who can now face charges.

And due to his own admission rather than any evidence.

Im surprised they even found the spoon.
