Other food manufacturers take note. This is a fantastic move, no matter how or why its been instigated. I'd like to think its down to continuing consumer pressure about the practices that big conglomerates indulge in and questioning them.
Surely, knowing what I do about the culture of competition in the marketplace, the others will follow suit and very quickly jump on the coattails of these two.
In a week where Mars seems to have taken a backwards move - no doubt in the name of profits, pure and simple, because its probably cheaper - and amended the sourcing of their ingredients so that their products are no longer vegetarian friendly (See HERE), this is welcome news.
On health grounds, on more natural ingredients grounds, and mostly on the grounds that it proves people power does eventually win out.
